Sobriety Checkpoint
After leaving downtown Springfield tonight I headed to the fair to drop something off for K1. It was around 11:15pm, I was driving up Glenstone and yes, right in front of Evangel I got to participate in my first ever "Sobriety Checkpoint". Yes, I passed! All I had to do was show my driver's license and then when he asked if I'd been drinking I said only coffee and tea! It was pretty neat though. I've heard about them on New Year's Eve but didn't know that they do them throughout the year. I think it's a great idea and will be mailng in the survey card the cop gave me. My favorite part... the cars that were pulling off to the side of the road and turning around after seeing the "sobriety checkpoint" sign. Can you say...GUILTY?!?!?!?!

haha
sounds like fun! well, fun as long as you are sober, i guess.
Just for the record...you wer dropping off K1's Keys that she locked in her car...that night...and lost two nights earlier...she only drove to Pleasant Hope the night before...trying to find her Southwest Springfield apartment...but all in all...I saw you right after the Sobriety Check point...and I can vouch for your sobriety.
Oops, that last one posted before I was finished! Anyways...Thanks for the confirmation of my sobriety! And yes, I was bringing K1 the extra key I have for her car. I think she should definately get On Star with her next car. It would probably come in very handy!
