why i hate politiks!!!

i'm writing to express how upset i am at stupid politikal addresses. here's the situation: i was sitting, all kozy in my big red chair, feeling all christmas-y and eagerly anticipating the beginning of a new christmas movie ("The Christmas Blessing" on CBS) when the stupid presidential address takes over network television! WHAT!?! WHY!?! do i really need to know what's going on with the iraqi elections? NO! isn't that why we pay kongressmen and other politicians? to take care of all that political stuff for us? i don't want to hear this krap! i want to watch the christmas movie!

but before i get hate mail and nasty komments, let me klarify a few things. (1) i do not hate the president. i respekt him as a man and as the leader of our kountry. i am thankful that a christian man is in authority over us. (2) i totally support and kompletely admire our soldiers. i am thankful to all the men and women who are serving in the military. i realize that their sakrifices are ensuring my freedom and kontinued freedom for future generations. i also am sad that so many soldiers have to be away from their families during the holidays. i wish they kould have a christmas vakation like the rest of us. (3) i simply do not kare about the details of politiks. i trust that everything is being taken kare of by those who know all the details of it. and that's my silly little opinion on the subjekt.

so here is my proposal for how to broadcast the presidential addresses and other so-called special reports. this idea is inspired by k3. rather than interrupting the regularly scheduled programming, they should have a special pop-up box (like picture-in-picture televisions) with a button on our remotes to "accept" or "ignore" the special report. wouldn't that be perfekt?! then, the politikal people kan hear all about it... and the rest of us kan watch the regularly scheduled programming... and everyone's happy!

ok, so now the president is finished with his 15 minute speech. so why are the news people repeating their favorite parts of his speech?!?! do we really need a rekap?!?! i don't think so! we're not deaf. we heard it the first time. sheesh!

(deep sigh of relief) ahh, they're going to now start the movie from the beginning. i was afraid that they might cut into the movie in progress. i'm not so mad now. shame on me for getting upset over nothing. although i still think k3's idea about the pop-up boxes are a good idea.

attention, seinfeld fans!!!

ok, so i know a lot of people who love seinfeld. but i don't. i've never been able to watch an entire episode without getting bored. i katch it from time to time on late nite tv. but here's my proposal... i will force myself to watch one entire episode of it... but if i don't like it... i will never watch seinfeld again. so here's where i need help. which episode should i watch? which is the funniest? which is the best? which one will earn my undying devotion? the polls are now open... gosh, i wish i had a downtown blogs site... then i could set up a bonafide poll...

what not to wear

i love this show! has anyone else ever considered wearing in the worst clothing imaginable... just to qualify for the whole wardrobe makeover thing? i would sacrifice my dignity for that cause. you bet your sweet little *whatever* i would! i want that visa card for the $5,000 shopping spree in nyc. yep, that's what i want. ahh, dreams. "...this is my grown-up christmas list..." everytime i hear that song on the radio, i realize that my grown-up christmas wishes become a bit more selfish every year. are there any other adults out there whose grown-up christmas list includes items other than whirled peas... i mean, world peace? i think it's ridiculous to wish for world peace b/c it's not gonna happen 'til christ comes back to reign on earth for that 1,000 years or whatever. (my theology may be a bit off, so i can't remember the exact time frame, and i'm too lazy to go look it up, but you get the point.) and now i'm inspired to make a list of my favorite things. or maybe i want to make an exhaustive version of my christmas list. i don't know. but i wanna make a list of some sort. i like... cmt music videos. i'm watching faith & her cowboy husband sing the "never loved at all" song. i think this is a countdown of faith hill's top songs. ugh, i just do not like faith as a brunette. she's a blonde. that's just who she is. she needs to stay blonde. wow, maybe i should make a list of actors who have had bi-colored hair transformations. (i just made up that word: bi-colored... not sure that it really applies but it sounds kinda kool anyway.) yikes, i forgot to do the "k" spelling thing. sheesh, i'm losing my blog touch. not that i really ever had one in the first place. this is the most random blog post i've ever kreated. krazy. i wanna be a celebrity. wouldn't that be cool? having stylists to always do your hair & makeup & clothing? wouldn't it be awesome if your job was just to look good? that sounds shallow, but it would be fun. when people asked what you did for a living, you could say, "well, my job is to let people make me look pretty". on sekond thought, that is really very shallow. and it wouldn't be a fun job at all. there would be unimaginable pressure. there would be diet nazi facists who wouldn't let you eat stuff. wow, the more i think about this, the stupider the idea gets. (yes, i know stupider isn't a word; i used it for effekt.) it makes me feel like a rebel to type this post as one paragraph. not like that's the only grammatikal error i'm making here, but it's the one that bothers me the most. misspelling words with "k" is hard. it goes against nature to spell words like that, but i do it for the sake of the kronikals. there was a customer who recently called me "kristy kringle"... what on earth was he thinking? just feeling christmas-y? i don't know, but it was totally weird. ok, now it's faith's "cry" video. it's #8. i love the tv channels that christmasize their logos. cmt has a snowflake around the cmt letters. nice. very nice. i want to see one that actually has falling snow. i love falling snow. if i could somehow create the effect of falling snow in my apartment, i would make it snow all winter long. how kould i akomplish that? hmmm... hafta think about that one. my apartment is a mess. shocker! (with sarkasm) better get off my lazy *whatever* and klean it up.

i'm back but i don't know why

i have nothing to write about. or so i think. which is why i've not blogged lately. i've got the blog blahs. i'm sitting here watching tv. tonight i've watched HITCH and REUNION and now it's WITHOUT A TRACE.

it's nearly christmas! (although i should spell it "kristmas" to keep the K thing going, it seems wrong to make it look more like my name and less like the beautiful name of christ. since the rest of the whole world is trying to skweeze his dear name out of the holidays, i will keep him where he belongs!) anyway... i have decorated my little apartment with awesome lights... they're big fuzzy snowballs in bright kolors! i also have little bitty red lights on my bookkase and a vase full of satin ornaments on my dining table. christmas kandles are on my breakfast bar. a snowman towel is hanging on my oven door. yep, it's beginning to look a lot like christmas!

tomorrow is friday. woo hoo! i'm glad. saturday night is my cousin's christmas party, so i'm driving down to arkansas for fun with the family. maybe i'll take some pix and post them next week. yep, that's a good idea. for sure.

ok, my eyes are tired. it's only 9:44, but i'm gonna shower and crash anyway. i'll take some allergy medicine, too. maybe that's why my eyes hurt. maybe i'm not tired after all. who knows. oh krap! i forgot to do a load of laundry. yikes. maybe i'll just wear dirty klothes tomorrow. eww, that's not a good idea. i guess i'll go do some laundry now. bye.
