ananamas & the lawyer

i met ananamas again today. i first met him at the fair, then i re-met him when he came to dmp a while back. i didn't blog about it back then, so i will blog about it today... because he came to dmp again today. i actually don't know why he was there. i probably should have asked since i'm the receptionist and all. oops. my bad. nevertheless, it was good to see a fellow blogger-commenter. it was also good to see millsie when she came to dmp later that day. i guess it was blogging-commenting visitor day.

and tonight i re-met a lawyer friend-of-a-friend's-friend. perfect timing actually. earlier today i was asking fswalker if he had any friends who were lawyers. he didn't. you see, i may need a lawyer's advice/help with the insurance claim for my totalled car. it's been two weeks and nothing! nada! nichts! and since i'm not well-known for my aggressive ability to pursuade others (namely insurance companies) it might be time to get reinforcements (namely a lawyer). so, although i didn't formally pray for God to send a lawyer friend to me, i did wish it would happen. and i even remembered meeting a lawyer who was the friend of my friend's friend at the star wars premiere this summer. (fs & movie buff, do you remember kipp & the two guys that came with her? well, that's who i'm talking about...) but he had gone to the army or something, and i had lost his card & didn't know how to reach him or even if he could be reached. he could be in iraq or timbuktu. but no! guess where he was tonight!?!? he was eating at maria's downtown! and so was i! so voila! there was the lawyer & just when i needed him. i think maybe God answered my quasi-prayer. yep, i'm pretty sure that's what happened. why else would i have remembered him today... then seen him tonight? the timing is too weird. or as i like to say... "it's not odd, it's GOD!" ok, so that's korny. but it's true. and now i have someone to give me advice about the insurance krap. thanks, God. i know it was You. thanks for taking care of me... yet again. that song is right. you are an Awesome God. ok, now i'm sounding really korny, so i'm going to bed.

tomorrow jen's bro gets married. i'll take pix and blog them.
