This weekend while visiting K1 in Springfield I thought I'd surprise her by making Rice Krispie Treats. While trying to decide between the 13.5 oz box of Rice Krispies or the 19 oz box I heard, "It's K2!". Surprised, I turned around and low and behold it was Hillen and Wife. We had a nice little chat there in the cereal aisle of the Wal-Mart Super Center on Glenstone. You just never know who you'll run in to!
Anyways, they were telling me that Sky likes to use Fruity Pebbles instead of Rice Krispies. Yummy! I'll most certianly have to try that one the next time.
So, I'm wondering if we could come up with enough variations to publish a cookbook titled, "The Metamorphosis of the Crispie Rice Square". Any suggestions?
Also, in the conversation I discovered that Sky and I have something in common that most people don't... we don't like chocolate! Sky...I've not met you yet, but I already like ya!

ok... i'm going to host a Krispie Kook Off...
not sure of the date yet... but we'll plan it... maybe some sunday? here at my apt... and we can bring our fave unique Krispie kreation!!!
and we'll need judges, too... i'm sure we can find willing bodies to eat our yummies...
whatcha think???
oh my goodness, eww. rachel, our similarities have just ended.
i agree - no peanut butter!
oh, so now i am like ryan?
You could always add food coloring to the marshmallow mixture! What would be some nasty colors for Rice Krispie Treats? Purple? Blue? Yellow?
well i love peanut butter, so count me in w/ rachel. i think krispie treats would be excellent w/ pb & chocolate! and there would be more for us to eat cuz k2 and sky wouldn't eat 'em.
That's right... K1 and Rachel can eat all the ones with peanut butter while Sky and I have the "Fruity Pebble Treats". :-) Works for me!
I love that show too. Healthy Rice Krispie Treats... isn't that an oxymoron?
i think maybe it is. what do they make it out of? what is the healthy alternative to marshmallows? is there such a thing?
Okay girls enough about the rice krispies. We seem to be beating a dead horse here! Let's hear something new and exciting!!
oh my gosh that sounds so nasty. worse than the peanut butter, almost.
i think the peanut butter and chocolate sounds good. me and k1 ans rachel can eat those!!!
